Competition Lot Natural Anaerobic

This competition lot was grown by Felipe Arcila on his farm Jardines Del Eden. Located in Quindio, Colombia.

This micro-lot is 100% Java. This varietal originated in Ethiopia and is a natural mutation of Typica. The seeds were taken to Indonesian where it was named Java. It was introduced to Colombia in 2010. 

The coffee has been fermented for 40 hours in an anaerobic environment. Afterwards, the coffee was sun-dried until ideal moisture content was achieved.
