Kello Raro - G1 Ethiopia

Kello Raro station is located in the Oromia region, within the Guji zone. The station purchases coffee cherries from approx 230 farmers in the area. Coffee in this region is grown at altitudes ranging from 1,900 to 2,250 m.a.s.l. The combination of favourable weather conditions, fertile soil and high altitude creates an ideal enviroment for producing coffee with exceptional profile characteristics. The Guji Zone is renowned for its high quality coffees, which often exhibit complex flavour notes such as floral, fruity and citrus tones with bright acidity and a clean, balanced finish.

The coffee farmers in this region are deeply committed to their craft. Many of them have been cultivating coffee for generations, using traditional farming methods combined with sustainable practices. They carefully tend to their coffee trees, ensuring that only the ripest cherries are harvested. This meticulous attention to detail contributes to the exceptional quality of the coffee produced in the Guji Zone.
